"The dream of The Masai Mara"

In March 2024, I was on a long-planned trip to the Masai Mara nature reserve in Kenya. There I stayed for thirteen days in the Oltepesi Tented Safari Camp. We were out in a land cruiser and photographed from sunrise to sunset. Breakfast and lunch were served on the car bonnet, preferably by an acacia tree.

I am grateful for the magical photographs I was able to capture, and the project shows the animals in their natural environment. I have developed a great passion for Africa, the history, the animals and the habitat they live in.

The memories take me back to primary school when I was eleven years old and my parents had just traveled to the Masai Mara. It was with great pleasure that I was able to present my father's slides at school in the sixth form.
